Great-Grandmother Bjorg

My Icelandic Great-Grandmother Bjorg

For this layout I used a Riddersholm Design paper for the background.

Riddersholm Design - Barn Market - Worn

These are the dies and punch I used:

Prima - Parisian Lace
Lifestyle Crafts - Nesting Doily Rectangles
Martha Stewart - French Scroll

These are the chipboard pieces I used:

Dusty Attic - Corner Flourish #3
Dusty Attic - Fancy Trim #1

I heat-embossed both chipboard pieces with Ranger Antiquities Embossing Powder in the California Stucco colour and inked around the edges with Fawn Colorbox Chalk Ink.  I glued some Fuzzy Navel Prills to the corner flourish using Artquest's Perfect Paper Adhesive (PPA) Matte.  I poured some of the PPA into another bottle with a finer tip so I could apply it more precisely.

The roses are by Prima (Solid Rose, Blush Gold and Crown Gold).

Thank you so much for taking a look today!

    1. Hi Denise. I've purchase my lace from a number of different places over the years and some of them are closed now. I have bought quite a bit from an Etsy store called mingmingworld but they are temporarily closed for a few months. That's where I got the lace that looks like spindles and the pink lace from this layout. I'm not sure but I think I may have got the wide piece of lace in this layout from an Etsy shop called TresorsdeLuxe. The Etsy shops called LaceBeauty and NaturalBalcony also have some beautiful lace. I hope that helps.
