Garden Contemplation

My husband's great-grandfather

I am very excited to present this first layout I made for Blue Fern Studios as their "Fan of the Month" for July.

These are the Blue Fern Studios paper and chipboard pieces I used in the layout:

Tranquility - Patience

Floral Lattice Bits

Ironwork Arch
Renaissance Border

I finished the Floral Lattice Bits by dabbing them with green, blue, brown and white paint using a paintbrush.

The Ironwork Arch was painted with white and various shades of brown using a sponge stippler to give a soft, blended effect.  I also inked around the edges with dark grey.

I used Brushed Corduroy Distress embossing powder on the Renaissance Border and rubbed green paint over the rough embossed surface using my finger.  I then glued some Prills (Express-O Yourself and Ice Queen colours) randomly overtop using ArtQuest Perfect Paper Adhesive.

Thank you so much for taking a look and to Blue Fern Studios for this opportunity!
I'll be back next Wednesday with another layout for BFS!
